Exorcism as a healing modality
In the last five years or so, I've had quite the journey coming into a belief that spirits exist. I define a spirit as an individuated being with agency and without a material body, which is often drawn to fulfilling memories of its material needs, like food and sex, through human hosts. I now believe that most addictions, anxieties and compulsive behaviors are caused by oppression from these external entities.
There are various modalities for working with these entities. The three I've explored so far are Internal Family Systems, which calls these spirits unattached burdens; compassionate depossession; and the most mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Having returned to India, I'm curious whether other deities, like Dattatreya, could also be called on for spirit release practices. The next step here would be to visit the Dattatreya temple at Ganagapur.
Collaborate
- Someone who is also interested in exploring exorcism as a healing modality, to make the trip to Ganagapur with me. I'll probably make it out there myself if I don't find a collaborator.
- YouTube collaborations with other explorers familiar with childhood sexual trauma, exorcism, or Jesus.
